Karen P. Condeni

Karen P. Condeni was appointed Vice President and Dean at Ohio Northern University in 1992. Prior to this, Dean Condeni served as Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, Director of Financial Aid, and a number of other positions at ONU during her 38-year career.

Dean Condeni graduated with honors from ONU and received her Master of Science in Education from The University of Dayton. Dean Condeni was the first woman elected President of the Ohio Financial Aid Association after serving as secretary and NW representative to this group. She also has served on the Midwest Financial Aid Executive Committee and has served on committees, both state and federal. She served on the Ohio Board of Regents Advisory Council and also currently serves on the ACT Advisory Council. She has presented at numerous conferences over the years, both state-wide and national. She has also served on a number of university committees. She was appointed to serve on the National Professional Development Committee for the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC). She was recognized with  the “Glass Ceiling” Award by the National Council on Diversity in 2010.

Dean Condeni and her husband Tony are the parents of four grown children, including 2001 ONU graduate Christine and current ONU sophomore Nick. She also has a grandchild, Grayson.
