The CCU difference

Colorado Christian University cultivates a knowledge and love of God in a Christ-centered community of learners and scholars with an enduring commitment to the integration of exemplary academics, spiritual formation, and engagement with the world. At CCU, we want you to learn how to learn, and we believe that goes far beyond four years of study and a degree. Academics aren’t just about increasing knowledge but transforming you as a person.

Faith and learning
With over 100 majors, minors, and emphases to choose from, you’ll integrate dynamic learning with rock-solid faith and begin to discern God’s plan for your life. Students complete 180 ministry hours during their time at CCU and engage in first-year discipleship groups, chapel twice a week, and student-led mission trips.

Affording CCU
CCU partners with parents and students by offering merit scholarships and student employment opportunities to help fund your education. In fact, 99% of undergraduates qualify for some form of financial aid. A job fair is held every fall for students seeking on-campus leadership positions, jobs, and internships. The value of your investment
Returns on investment at CCU manifest in academics, spiritual formation, and life-long community. We’re committed to career readiness and have successfully matched over 1,400 students with employers through our Employment Management Service. Through training in competence and character, students graduate ready to impact the world with grace and truth.

Athletics
Colorado Christian University is a NCAA Division-II college in the Rocky Mountain Athletics Conference (RMAC), one of the largest and most competitive conferences in the nation. For the last 9 years, CCU has received the RMAC Sportsmanship title, our Women’s Golf and Women’s Softball teams both won the 2022 RMAC Championship, and we have 6 NCAA All-American Athletes. At CCU, we play to win. But every time we compete, we play to honor Jesus Christ—our audience of One.

Test-Optional

Colorado Christian University has implemented a test-optional policy for the 2022-23 academic year. This will allow most freshman applicants the option to be considered for admission without submission of ACT, SAT or CLT scores. The Office of Undergraduate Admission is able to evaluate most applicants for admission with or without the use of test scores by reviewing the rigor of high school coursework, written essays, and spiritual recommendation. However, to qualify for a Distinguished Achievement or Trustees’ scholarship, a standardized test score is required. See our Scholarships page for more information.
