Fairleigh Dickinson University is the largest private university in New Jersey. Two campuses, one great university
Fairleigh Dickinson University is comprised of two campuses. The Florham Campus, located in Madison, New Jersey, is an idyllic college setting, complete with classic architecture, state-of-the-art athletic facilities, and Greek life. Its Metropolitan Campus sits on the Hackensack River and boasts innovative new facilities and academic programs only 10 miles from New York City!

and cheer on their favorite sports at FDU. The University has a combined total of 38 men’s and women’s teams at both the Division I (Metropolitan Campus) and Division III (Florham Campus) levels. Fans can root for FDU at various events throughout the year, and athletes reap countless benefits by joining an athletic program.FDU athletes enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and perform in front of the biggest audiences of their athletic careers! Their 2014 athletic season was highlighted by a D-III NCAA championship in women’s basketball and a D-I NCAA championship in women’s bowling.

Graduate Study/4+1 Combined Degree Advantage Program
With 100+ graduate programs ranging
from business to engineering and pharmacy, FDU takes education to the next level. The University has program offerings at both New Jersey campuses and online to help students create a work-life balance that is right for them.

FDU’s 4+1 Combined Degree Advantage Program enables high-achieving students to earn their undergraduate and graduate degrees in just five years. This accelerated program saves time and money by providing continued scholarship support for a year of graduate study after students earn their bachelor’s degree. Students may choose from more than 30 combined degree programs in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Hotel & Restaurant Management, and Sports Administration.

FDU makes college affordability a priority for students and their families. The average financial aid package is $32,000 and 95% of freshmen receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, and/or student loans. FDU invested $75 million in University-funded scholarships and financial aid in the last year alone. In fact, FDU financial aid packages often make the University a more affordable option than New Jersey’s public universities.

Study abroad
At FDU students have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad and discover other cultures, open their minds to new ideas, and gain an international perspective. Along with our campuses in England and Canada, FDU students have recently spent semesters in Amsterdam, Australia, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Italy, Prague, South Africa, and more! FDU also offers trips over summer and January breaks for those who’d prefer a shorter experience. Students can spend a semester studying business in the United Kingdom or Vancouver, see the Taj Mahal in India over winter break, or take advantage of our partnership with the Universita di Bergamo in northern Italy.
