International Profile

Elms College is a Catholic liberal arts college dedicated to educating the whole person.

Founded in 1928 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield, Massachusetts, we offer undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs in an environment that is values centered and progressive. In all fields you’ll find small class sizes and high expectations.

Ours is a close-knit community, guided by the College’s values of faith and excellence. The International Programs Office provides resources and support for our international students, scholars, and non-native English speakers, helping with your initial adjustment to Elms; serving as a secondary academic advisor; providing information and advice about cultural differences, immigration regulations, financial matters, and personal concerns; and advocating and guiding you throughout your college experience and beyond.

All Elms students develop character as well as intellect, distinguishing themselves as scholars, leaders, and athletes. We’ll prepare you not only for professional success, but also to help create solutions that make a difference in the lives of others.
