Christian Life Profile

Educating from a Biblical World-View

Columbia International University’s soul-nourishing Bible classes and rigorous academic and professional training will prepare you for whatever work God is calling you to do. Our educational philosophy:

Just open it up and we’ll fill it with academic excellence with the Bible at its core. You’ll graduate with a double major—one major in Bible and the other in an academic/professional major.

We’ll help you make it pump for Jesus. Frequent resuscitations are prescribed through chapel, conferences, small group ministries, prayer days, and your involvement in a local church of your choice.

Expect them to get dirty. Ministry and career opportunities are hands-on as you begin to reach out to a world in need.

To impact the world, we need to go to the world. That’s why CIU’s middle name is “International.” You’ll learn from professors who have logged more than 450 years of international experience in over 25 countries! We’ve even named the main street onto campus International Boulevard. It’s lined with flags from countries around the world representing the more than 20 nations that CIU students call home and nearly 150 nations where CIU graduates are serving.

Jesus said to make disciples of all nations. So let’s go! You may find yourself studying in Europe, Mexico, Fiji, or even walking in the sandal steps of Jesus in Jerusalem. You may even go to a country you’ve never heard of. On-campus student activities include intercollegiate athletics, intramural sports, beach and ski trips, World Christian Week, Spirit Week, Christian Life Conference, and a ton more! So, check us out during Preview Days held each fall and spring. Also in the fall, high school seniors can compete for a full-tuition scholarship at the R.C. McQuilkin Scholarship Weekend.
