With 75+ programs available and an average class size of 15 students, Maryville students receive unparalleled personal attention. Students build personal relationships with our expert faculty— 90% of whom hold PhDs or terminal degrees. In addition, Maryville students boast a 94% job placement rate within six months of graduation.

Student life
With students representing 50 states and 47 countries, Maryville’s student population is increasingly diverse—and Maryville’s student life offers something for everyone. More than 1,000 events are held on campus each year, including live music, Casino Night, movies, comedians, the Maryville Outdoor Olympics, and even unusual (but fun!) events like pudding wrestling. Plus, there are more than 80 student organizations on campus. Maryville’s 130-acre campus is conveniently located within 20 minutes of downtown St. Louis—a dynamic city full of vibrant arts, culture, pro sports, and entertainment.

Maryville is Saints Nation, and as proud Saints, we believe that intercollegiate athletics are an integral component of higher education. Maryville sports have a great influence on campus culture and build a unique sense of community among students, athletes, staff, and local fans. As a proud member of NCAA Division II, Maryville students have the opportunity to play for—and root for—23 intercollegiate teams. On the field or in the stands, Maryville redefines the sports experience for every Saint.

Digital World program
As a part of Maryville’s commitment to learning, innovation, and technology, every incoming Maryville student receives an iPad. More than just a piece of technology, student iPads are an integral part of the customized Maryville education. Along with initial training on how to integrate the iPad into their classroom experience, students learn how to use the iPad to collaborate with faculty and fellow students, create content, enhance technological competencies, and become a confident problem solver in today’s digital world.

Life coach program
Maryville provides each incoming first-year student with a hand-picked life coach whose role is to provide academic, personal, and professional support. From educating you about your particular learning style and strengths to connecting you with career development opportunities, the program is personalized to you. Your Maryville life coach will help you to make informed, intentional choices that will define your Maryville experience—and what will come after.
