Get to know us
At D’Youville College, we take your education very seriously. Our talented and dedicated faculty members are committed to making teaching their primary focus and to preparing you for a lifetime of learning.

This means that when you come to D’Youville, you can count on all of your classes, labs, and seminars being taught by faculty members at the forefront of their fields, rather than by teacher aides or assistants who are learning with you. In fact, we maintain a 14:1 student-faculty ratio to ensure that you receive the highest level of individualized attention.

A degree from D’Youville can open many doors for you. Our extensive range of majors includes D’Youville’s unique two-degree programs that help you earn your bachelor’s and master’s degree concurrently in just five years. Dual or interdisciplinary degrees in career fields with national shortages get our graduates into the workforce faster. At D’Youville, we take great pride in the quality of education we provide and the international reputation our graduates have for being well-prepared to face the challenges of the working world. The College has made a conscious effort to establish internships, guide professional development, and use advisory groups and clinical experience for all appropriate programs.

Financing your education
Making your education as affordable as possible is important to us. More than 90% of all incoming D’Youville freshmen receive financial aid. D’Youville’s new instant academic scholarship program for incoming students offers scholarships with total values from $4,000–$69,000. The scholarships allow students to cut the cost of college tuition by as much as 50%. D’Youville has been ranked a top college in New York State for return on investment.

A full range of resources
D’Youville’s modern Montante Family Library boasts state-of-the-art computer reference capabilities for both in-house and off-site users, including access to over 70 online databases. Other student resources include the Career Services Center, the Learning Center, the Health Center, and the College Center (housing the gymnasium built in 2002, swimming pool, fitness wellness area, main dining rooms, snack areas, and a pub). A six-story, state-of-the-art Academic Center opened in fall 2010, and a new apartment residence opened in January 2005.

There’s plenty for you to do
Our students enjoy an active and exciting campus life, with more than 30 different social, cultural, professional, and community service–oriented clubs. Athletics are an equally important part of college life, and D’Youville has a wide range of NCAA intercollegiate and recreational athletic programs you can choose from.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of social activities, trips, and concerts throughout the year. There is a whole world outside of D’Youville that students can explore and enjoy. Located in a residential section of the city of Buffalo, D’Youville puts students just steps away from all the action and excitement that comes with life in New York State’s second-largest met-ropolitan area. From top-rated theaters to ski resorts, nightclubs, ethnic festivals, concert halls, and Niagara Falls, students find there’s plenty to do. Students can catch one of today’s hottest box office hits at Shea’s Performing Arts Center; visit the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, one of the premier art galleries in America; attend professional sporting events, like the Buffalo Bills (NFL) or Buffalo Sabres (NHL); or ski Kissing Bridge Resort.
