Applicant must be a graduate student or professor with original, unpublished research on one of the following topics: (1) Benjamin Graham-based investment principles solving a current problem for long-only equity investors; (2) Behavioral biases when investing in equities and practical approaches to counter or exploit these biases; (3) Risk and its relationship to volatility for long-only equity investors; or (4) New perspectives for DB, DC and Hybrid pension plans. Paper must have an "abstract" that summarizes the issue, methodology, and solution in 500 words or less.

Award Coverage plus preferential consideration for publication in on of the Institutional Investor Journals and an invidation to a dinner reception at a Brandes office, including an introduction to Charles Brandes
