Alfred University Sports Camps

Overview

Alfred University conducts residential athletic camps for high school students in two sports. The swim camp, for boys and girls entering grades 7-12, addresses stroke development, training techniques and competitive strategies. Residential riders (ages 14-17) may participate in an English equestrian camp, while day riders (ages 8-16) choose from English or Western programs; no prior riding experience is necessary. Each camper is assigned a horse and has the opportunity to ride and care for the horse while refining his or her riding skills.
