Designed to confront the lack of diversity in journalism, J Camp assembles a multicultural group of high school students for six days of intensive journalism training. The curriculum consists of interactive workshops, hands-on projects, guest speakers and field trips. Students learn from experienced professional journalists and receive training in writing, photography, television broadcasting, online media and reporting. The program is not restricted to Asian-American students.
