Held on the campuses of Cornell University and the University of California-Santa Cruz, ASMP enables gifted math pupils to hone their problem-solving skills while exploring advanced topics in detail. Many participants seek to improve their performance in national math contests. Taught by distinguished faculty and Olympiad coaches from the US and abroad, lectures focus on number theory, Euclidean geometry, algebraic inequalities and techniques, modular arithmetic and computational geometry. A 90-minute problem-solving seminar (with active student participation) follows each teaching session.
