This enrichment program employs hands-on exercises to teach students about the stock market and the process of investment. Course work addresses various aspects of the financial industry and other business fields. Boys and girls get to experience the trading-room environment through simulated trading sessions. Pupils work in groups of five to construct a diversified portfolio of equity securities, then prepare a formal presentation detailing the rationale of their selections. Wall Street 101 also features trips to Boston investment firms and other area attractions.
