Berkshire Hills Music Academy Summer Program

BHMA enrolls students with a variety of conditions that may accompany an intellectual disability who have significant interest in exploring music. The Summer Program teaches independent living and vocational skills and also features individual and group music lessons. Enrichment activities include trips to concerts, museums, parks, nature preserves and bike trails. Students work on a research project based on the musical genre that is being studied. Suitable applicants have basic self-care skills, display consistently positive social behavior and exhibit mature group behavior.
