Boston University Theatre Institute



The institute features intensive professional training in acting (improvisation, monologue work and scene study), dramatic literature, movement for actors and singing with a faculty of working artists. Instruction also addresses script analysis, character development and playwriting. A master class in Shakespeare performance is also offered. Workshops offered throughout the summer introduce students to an array of subjects. Each student is cast in a performance project that rehearses throughout the five weeks.
