Brandeis University BIMA Program

BIMA participants hone their artistic skills while exploring Jewish traditions and Jewish identity. The program addresses six core areas of artistic study: filmmaking, music (instrumental or vocal), visual arts, creative writing, theater and dance. Boys and girls develop techniques and collaborate artistically with other participants. In addition, students choose from a range of workshops pertaining to various media. Other activities include concerts, performances and exhibitions at cultural institutions. The community celebrates Shabbat, and Kosher dining is observed at all meals.
