California Scholastic Press Association Journalism Workshop



Writing up to five stories each day, students enrolled in the Journalism Workshop gain in-depth knowledge of news, sports, feature and opinion writing; practice interviewing and learn research techniques; tour newspaper offices and television studios; and explore graphics, photography, blogging and social media. Instructors include reporters, editors, photographers, graphic designers and broadcasters from news outlets across California.
