The camp provides recreational, social and educational opportunities for youth with insulin-dependent diabetes. Campers acquire diabetes self-management skills while participating in many traditional camping activities. Programming combines cabin-group activities with free-choice periods. Younger children spend most of their time with cabin mates, while older campers exercise a greater degree of control over their schedules.
