Located on a 40-acre site in the foothills of the Shawangunk Mountains, Redwood provides instruction in a wide variety of land sports and aquatic activities. Boys and girls ages 5-12 attend single-gender sessions, while older campers engage in coeducational programming. The camp schedules an array of trips and tours during its eight-week session to such destinations as a nearby lake, a water park, New York City landmarks and West Point. ESL instruction and remedial math and reading are available. Offered to teenagers for an additional fee, a flight training program enables boys and girls to receive 10 hours of flight instruction, while also accruing 20 hours of cockpit observation.
