Overview

Located on a 450-acre tract that includes four and a half miles of beach, Thunderbird for Boys features both English and Western riding, extended backpacking trips for older campers, aquatics and crafts. Thunderbird for Girls, which occupies an adjacent 250-acre tract of deciduous and pine forest with a mile of sand beach, features both English and Western riding, extended backpacking trips for older campers, aquatics and crafts. Other activities include music, dramatics, ecology, sports, sailing, fishing, bicycling, water-skiing and sailboarding. Qualified campers may embark on a 21-day canoeing trip.
