This precollege program serves rising high school seniors diagnosed with a language-based learning disability or an attentional disorder. Students develop strategies for studying and taking tests, reading comprehension, written communication, time management, active listening and taking notes. Instructors also help familiarize students with the college search process, Web-based resources and assistive technologies. Students take part in various informal and planned activities, among them a tour of Boston. Applicants should possess average to above-average cognitive ability.
