Eastern U.S. Music Camp at Colgate University



Conducted at Colgate University, the camp offers a well-balanced program in instrumental and choral music that features group and one-on-one instruction. Students choose from daily rehearsals in symphonic band, symphony orchestra, jazz ensembles, jazz combos, studio orchestra, concert choir, chamber orchestra, madrigal choir, boys’ choir, girls’ choir and all instruments (including piano, harp and guitar). Classes in beginning and advanced theory, harmony, composition and arranging, improvisation and conducting are also available, and participants may earn high school credit. Activities include supervised sports, swimming, tennis, gymnastics, track, golf, crafts, movies, wall climbing, informal recreational offerings and a day trip to Cooperstown.
