Global Young Leaders Conference

 

Overview

This leadership development program allows high-achieving boys and girls to learn from successful businesspeople, policy officials, lobbyists, journalists, diplomats and academics in Washington, DC; New York City; Vienna, Prauge and Berlin, Europe; or Beijing, Hangshou and Shanghai, China. Among concepts addressed on a broad scale during the GYLC sessions are communications, diplomacy, law, human rights, peace, security, economics and the role of the United Nations. All students are provided with written materials intended to promote self-directed, experiential learning. The Congressional Youth Leadership Council, which sponsors GYLC, identifies and nominates suitable candidates.
