Hurontario takes advantage of its 300-acre tract in the Thirty Thousand Islands of Georgian Bay by conducting a varied selection of outdoor pursuits. Small groups of six to eight boys, together with a counselor and a CIT, stay together all day long throughout the summer, allowing for program flexibility. As part of Hurontario's tripping program, novice campers embark on three- to five-day trips within the nearby Massassauga Provincial Park, while more experienced boys strike out on successively longer excursions to more remote destinations.
