Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth Summer Programs

CTY conducts advanced programs in a range of disciplines for academically talented youth at colleges and preparatory schools in five states. Programs for young students include day-only courses for boys and girls who have completed grades 2-4 and residential programs for those who have completed grades 5 and 6; eligibility is based on School and College Abilities Test (SCAT) scores. CTY courses for students who have completed grade 7 or above require SAT, ACT or SCAT scores above the mean for college-bound high school seniors; the Academic Expressions program features courses with less selective eligibility requirements. A global issues program at Princeton University serves pupils who have completed grades 10-12.
