Johns Hopkins University Engineering Innovation

Following a program developed by Johns Hopkins University, students apply their knowledge of math and science to hands-on projects and laboratory work pertaining to engineering. Boys and girls attend college-level lectures, test theories, solve problems and generate solutions. As a complement to classroom work, students also learn from practicing engineers about career possibilities, internships and educational opportunities within the field. In addition to the residential and day program at Johns Hopkins, Engineering Innovation operates comparable day sessions at locations across the country. Applicants should have spreadsheet knowledge, as well as experience with lab science, algebra II and trigonometry.
