This free camp serves Kentucky residents who fall into one of two main special-needs populations. One eligible group consists of children who have either been classified as visually impaired, legally blind or totally blind or diagnosed with a declining vision issue. The other comprises boys and girls who either have had a cochlear implant or have been classified as totally or partially deaf or hard of hearing (with a hearing aid). Campers engage in traditional recreational pursuits during the weeklong session.
