The Lawrence Hall of Science, the University of California-Berkeley's public science center, conducts a weeklong marine biology program at Bodega Marine Lab in Bodega Bay. High school students develop laboratory and field investigation skills as they examine the rocky tide pools, mudflats, estuaries, coastal dunes and sandy beaches surrounding the modern research station. Participants design their own research projects with guidance from LHS instructors and scientists. Boys and girls engage in supervised recreational activities each evening.
