MexArt Summer Teen Program

Overview

MexArt participants take daily Spanish classes with either art or dance courses. Art students choose one focus area and one or two electives from the following selections: painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, printmaking, color and design, welding and silver jewelry. Those in the dance program choose from jazz, hip-hop, modern and ballet in the morning session, and salsa, flamenco and improvisation in the afternoon. Dance students also teach dance to local children as a community service project.
