Mountain Lake Chess Camp

 

Overview

Players ranging in ability from beginners to tournament veterans may develop their skills in Mountain Lake's chess programs. Socratic-style seminars, exhibition matches, speed chess and regulation tournaments utilize the camp's teaching method. Day camps held at the San Diego Chess Club feature instruction in the morning and museum trips in the afternoon. Residential campers at Lake Arrowhead may participate in swimming, crafts, archery, sailing and horseback riding.
