Joseph Conrad Summer Camp combines maritime history with basic sailing and seamanship skills. Students live on board the permanently berthed, square-rigged Joseph Conrad for a week. Programming includes sailing instruction in nine-foot Dyer Dhows, rowing in seine boats, dead reckoning and piloting, splicing and knot tying.
