Designed for college-bound students with a strong interest in science, SCIBLS offers rigorous course work, hands-on laboratory experiences and a preview of college life. Tours of nearby research facilities and visits with industry professionals complement course offerings, which include molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology and biochemistry. Boarders participate in group activities on weekends and are responsible for their own meals. Applicants have completed high school biology and chemistry classes.
