Northfield Mount Hermon Summer Session

NMH's Middle School Program (entering grades 7-9) provides a small-class environment in which motivated children take two major courses in the morning, along with a minor afternoon class. Boys and girls play sports in the afternoon. Students entering grades 10-12 may enroll in the College Prep Program, during which they pursue one intensive course three hours each morning (Monday through Saturday). In addition, a sport and an afternoon lab or a minor course convene four afternoons per week. College Prep pupils also spend a few days of the session participating in a community work program. Extracurricular activities typically include both on-campus events and optional trips to beaches, summer theater, an amusement park, classical music concerts, museums and professional baseball games.
