Northwestern State University ADVANCE Program for Young Scholars

 

Overview

Affiliated with and patterned after Duke University's Talent Identification Program, ADVANCE is an intensive educational summer program designed for academically gifted youth. Students enroll in one academic class and receive six hours of daily instruction in the chosen course of study. Evening study periods and recreational activities take place in the evening. Weekend activities include dances, movies, sports, arts and crafts, and a talent show.
