Northwestern University Center for Talent Development Summer Program

Overview

CTD offers four academic programs for high-achieving students. Leapfrog (grades pre-K-3) is a weeklong enrichment curriculum offered in a language arts track and a math/science track. Apogee participants (grades 4-6) immerse themselves in a single intensive course. The Spectrum program (grades 7 and 8) enables pupils to complete a year- or semester-long honors-level course in three weeks. In Equinox (grades 9-12), a master teacher experienced with gifted adolescents teaches each course. The latter three programs meet for five hours each weekday and have homework requirements, while Leapfrog offers both half- and full-day enrollment options.
