Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute

 

Overview

Hosted by Quartz Mountain Arts and Conference Center at a state park, this highly competitive, intensive academy serves motivated Oklahoma high schoolers. Students receive professional training in such disciplines as acting, creative writing, ballet, modern dance, orchestra, chorus, drawing and painting, photography, and film and video. Boys and girls gain exposure to various art forms and learning experiences and attend or participate in performances, gallery openings, poetry readings and ballroom dance classes. All participants attend on full scholarship, aside from a processing fee.
