Pacific Northwest College of Art Pre-College Summer Studios

Overview

Pre-College Studios begins with a week of foundation courses in figure drawing and modeling, perspective drawing and composition, surface and color design, space design and time-based arts. Students then focus on one specialized studio in either three-dimensional design, design and illustration, or painting. As a complement to studio work, boys and girls participate in group discussions, visit working artists in their studios, take trips to museums and galleries, and view films and slide shows. The program concludes with a public gallery exhibition. Participants reside at Concordia University.
