This program for high-achieving students interested in medicine focuses on exploring the human body through a series of lectures, organ laboratories and clinical experiences. Core courses address anatomy, physiology, biopharmaceuticals and research methods in health. The academy also includes seminars on science and health career planning, clinical skills, public health and patient-centered care. SSSA enrolls only those pupils who have previously attended a health or science summer program.
