Saint Olaf College Engineering and Physics Camp for Girls

Overview

High school girls learn physics and engineering principles and techniques as they construct their own Rube Goldberg machines during this weeklong camp. The hands-on building exercise forces students to account for various laws of physics to make their machines function as efficiently as possible. Girls put their completed machines on display for family, friends, faculty members and their fellow campers on the session's last day.
