Spoleto Study Abroad Summer Session

Overview

This intensive, interdisciplinary summer session for high schoolers focuses on the arts and the humanities. The program, which takes place in central Italy, enables students to explore their academic and artistic interests in a European setting. Pupils study the visual arts, photography, vocal music, creative writing and drama while also learning about the cultural and artistic heritage of the Italian Renaissance. Twice-weekly day trips to historically and artistically noteworthy Italian cities complement class work. A consortium of highly regarded US independent schools cosponsors the program.
