A Voice of Her Own teaches lifetime speaking and debating skills to young women. Instruction includes interpretive reading, dramatic interpretation, impromptu speaking, persuasive speaking and various forms of debate. Girls devote mornings to preparing speeches or debate briefs, then spend afternoons polishing their delivery of the material. Participants deliver presentations to the assembled camp each evening.
