Summer Study in Colorado

Overview

High schoolers who have completed at least grade 10 and recent graduates earn two or three college credits over five weeks while taking freshman-level courses and previewing college life. Each student takes one or two courses for credit and one for enrichment. Pupils who have completed grades 9-11 may enroll in a three-week, noncredit enrichment session. The program's location lends itself to such outdoor pursuits as rock climbing, hiking, biking and white-water rafting; sports clinics and community service opportunities are among Summer Study's other activities. Weekends provide opportunities for travel to Vail, Breckenridge, Colorado Springs and Rocky Mountain National Park.
