Taft Summer School

Taft's summer session, which comprises the Young Scholars Program (grades 7-9) and the Liberal Studies Program (grades 9-12), is designed for students who wish to improve their academic standing through a concentrated and rigorous program. Course work provides them with the opportunity to enrich their school experiences by taking classes not otherwise available to them or by concentrating on fundamental skills development. All pupils enroll in two major courses and two minor electives. Taft also conducts a full sports program, various on-campus activities and cultural weekend day trips.
