Telluride Association Summer Program

Overview

This free program for high school juniors operates at two college sites around the country. At each location, TASP students attend an academic seminar that meets each weekday morning for about three hours. Two professors lead each seminar, which is organized around group discussions rather than lectures. Professors meet individually with pupils to discuss writing assignments; instructors do not grade these assignments, instead issuing written comments. Students also attend guest lectures and deliver speeches on topics that interest them.
