The Barton Center for Diabetes Education Summer Camps

 

Overview

The Barton Center offers various camping options for individuals with insulin-dependent diabetes, all of which provide special education about coping with the disease. Residential camp options for children ages 6-16 include Camp Clara Barton for girls, located in North Oxford, MA; Camp Joslin for boys, located in Charlton, MA; and weeklong, coeducational adventure and wilderness camps. Boys and girls ages 6-12 may attend coed day camps in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. A weeklong family camp operates each August.
