The Putney School Visual and Performing Arts Workshops

 

Overview

Designed for students displaying serious interest in the visual or performing arts, these workshops encompass the following: animation, audio art, ceramics, chamber music, dance, drawing, filmmaking, glass arts, metalwork and jewelry, music composition, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, songwriting, theater, vocal ensemble, wearable art, and weaving and fiber arts. Pupils choose two workshops during the session, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The program features meetings with local artists and field trips to galleries and museums, and Putney schedules student exhibits and performances on closing day.
