High-achieving students who have just completed their junior year of high school take part in a six-day program that balances academics, athletics and professional training. The Summer Seminar is designed especially for those boys and girls who are considering seeking an appointment the one of the US service academies. Each pupils attends eight 90-minute academic workshops during the session; while some course options have a nautical orientation, many others are in traditional subject areas.
