This program for rising high school sophomores and juniors who are in the top quarter of their class allows students to participate in creative projects and research investigations in the arts and sciences under the supervision of university mentors. Research topics include archaeology, biology, chemistry, materials science, engineering, physics, psychology, Web design, education, nursing, pharmacy, arts and humanities. Special presentations address SAT preparation, college admissions and financial aid, and career planning. Recreation and weekend trips balance academic work.
