University of Dayton—Women in Engineering Summer Camp

WIE enables young women to explore careers in engineering through hands-on activities. Guided by faculty from the University of Dayton School of Engineering, girls conduct experiments in engineering. Participants visit an industry job site, meet women working professionally as engineers and receive one-on-one advice from female engineering students at the University of Dayton, who serve as camp counselors. Residence hall living offers a preview of college life.
