Info: The contest is open to students in grades 9 through 12 in the 2018-2019 school year. Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and attending school in the U.S. Contestants must meet all requirements to compete. Contestants are eligible for only one written essay entry during any given year. Contestants are eligible for only one video essay entry during any given year. Applicants must write an essay or make a video with the theme “Food Brings Everyone to the Table.”
Deadline: February 15
Info: Applicant must be enrolled at a college or university this winter. Essay on one of the following questions is required: What sacrifices are you prepared to make on behalf of your family in service to your community or country? (or) Is there virtue in being a workaholic overachiever in today's age?
Deadline: February 28
Info: Applicant must be a high school student in the United States. An original video (30-60 seconds) that shows a solution to ending distracted driving among teens. Applicant may work individually or with up to three peers.
