You’ve probably noticed something new this year for the #CXGivesBack Giveaway. This year we have some featured sponsors, and we’d love to tell you more about them! These five companies are some of our favorites because of all the good they do. But what exactly is that?
4ocean was started by two surfers on a trip to Bali. They spent some time in a small village and noticed that the water surrounding the village was choked with garbage: plastic bottles, plastic bags—all things thrown carelessly into the ocean. The two decided something had to be done and became determined to clean up the plastic polluting our oceans.
To date, 4ocean has removed over two million pounds of trash from the sea, and that number is only rising. The company sells a series of bracelets made from recycled materials to fund the project. Each bracelet sold funds the removal of a pound of trash.

We’ve all heard the myth that tap water is bad for us in some way, shape, or form. Faucet Face is determined to turn that around and encourage people to reduce their intake of bottled water, especially considering all the plastic waste that comes with it. How do they do this? By selling glass water bottles, of course!
These reusable glass water bottles make drinking tap water easy and fashionable. Plus, 2.5% of all sales are donated to provide water filters to villages in India with limited or no access to clean water.

Hand in Hand
After learning how many children die per year due to waterborne illnesses and how hand washing can prevent many of those diseases, Courtney Apple and Bill Glaab decided they needed to do something about it. Where better to start than by selling the #1 thing that could help: soap.
For every Hand in Hand soap purchased, a bar of soap goes to a child in Haiti. In addition to providing over a million soaps to children, the company has repaired and built wells in Haiti, providing safe, clean water to thousands.

Millions of students in the United States don’t have basic school supplies, and many schools in the country can’t provide them to those students. Often the responsibility falls to teachers to provide these supplies in their classrooms—using their own money.
Yoobi’s goal is to provide students with those basic supplies. For every item purchased through Yoobi, a classroom in the United States receives a piece of well-needed supplies: pens and pencils, folders, erasers, glue sticks, even scissors!
